In the process of Alignment Checking, Arapongas relies on the most advanced technology in this field: the portable equipment System 2 Prüftechnik AG (Germany), made up of a central computer and two bases with highly sensitive laser sensors.

The checking method consists in positioning the stationary base (sender) on an external support of the piece to be inspected, displacing and rotating the movable base (receiver) in the interior of the bearings pockets that will be checked. This process is repeated in each point and the data are sent immediately to the central computer, via infrared, with the function of calculating and illustrating through a digram the existing disalignment .

Besides being more accurate and efficient than the traditional methods, the laser alignment checking can be carried out in few hours.
